Clinical Interest for Patients
My clinical interests include the assessment and evaluation of children with developmental disabilities. I have a special interest in working with children with autism spectrum disorders. I have co-founded a sleep behavior clinic for children with autism spectrum disorders and a clinic to address toileting issues.
It is always important to understand a child's strengths as well as their needs and to use this information to develop an effective treatment plan. When I work with children, it is important for me to include their parents and care givers in the assessment and treatment process.
I enjoy gardening, reading, knitting, and spending time with my family.
I am a board member of the Rocky Mountain Rett Association and a family advisor to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation.
