Clinical Interest for Patients
My clinical interests include diagnosis and non-operative management of spinal disorders, musculoskeletal injuries and peripheral nerve injuries. When necessary, I may perform electrodiagnostic testing (nerve studies), spinal or other injections to help figure out the source of the problem and to reduce pain, and will provide guidance on therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation. I treat both athletes and non-athletes and individualize treatments with a goal of reducing pain and improving physical function.

Care Philosophy
I believe exercise is medicine and will work with individuals to create treatment plans to improve physical function, whether it be recovery from an acute injury or functioning better despite a chronic condition.

Personal Interests
I thrive when I am outside. You are likely to find me at a park with my family, on a trail hiking, biking, skiing, or camping. I am passionate about family, sports, fitness and good food.

Information for Referring Providers

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers
My clinical interests include diagnosis and non-operative management of spinal disorders, musculoskeletal injuries and peripheral nerve injuries. I perform electrodiagnostic studies and utilize a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic injections for the spine and musculoskeletal system all with a goal of optimizing rehabilitation. I am board certified in PM&R, Pain Medicine and Sports Medicine.

Research Interest for Referring Providers
I am interested in optimizing spine care across populations and for individuals. I have lectured locally and regionally to primary care physicians about evidence-based management of low back pain, published on the role of epidural steroid injections and have helped develop a spine care pathway. I continue to be interested in electrodiagnostic medicine and have published several book chapters on the role of electrodiagnosis for sports and spine conditions.
