Information for Referring Providers

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers
My clinical interests are the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior (e.g., self-injurious behavior, aggression) among children diagnosed with developmental disabilities. I use functional analysis to identify behavioral function and a function-based treatment to decrease problem behavior and increase appropriate behaviors (e.g., compliance with adult instructions).

Research Interest for Referring Providers
My clinical research interests are focused on improving assessment and treatment procedures for children engaging in severe problem behaviors (e.g., self-injurious behavior, aggression). Additionally, I am interested in studying the provision of behavior analytic services via telehealth. My translational research interests are in the area of behavioral momentum theory and behavioral economics. I am interested in studying procedures to decrease treatment relapse. That is, the reoccurrence of problem behavior following successful treatment.
