Clinical Interest for Patients
My clinical interests are congenital heart disease. I am also very motivated to examine the effect of symptoms--with or without "identified" disease--on the lives of young people.

Care Philosophy
To try to understand how children and adolescents perceive their symptoms, their illness or their disease...and to start there, at each visit. To help teach young people that symptoms and disease may be part of their life, but that it does not define them.

Volunteer Activities
RoundUp River Ranch--Medical Volunteer, Heart Week 2014-present

Public Speaking

Information for Referring Providers

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers
In addition to patients with congenital heart disease, or in need of screening for cardiac conditions, I see patients with ongoing symptoms (with or without identifiable underlying disease). I teach patients and families ways to manage symptoms and reframe the signals their body sends so that anxiety and distraction can be minimized.
