Clinical Interest for Patients
My interests ansd strengths include diagnostic ultrasound, especially gynecologic and obstetric ultrasound, ultrasound of liver, kidney and pancreas transplant. I am very interested in the diagnosis and monitoring of cancer using CT, MRI and ultrasound

Research interests for Patients:
I have participated in many research projects designed to determine the amount of body fat a subject has under the skin (subcutaneous fat) versus the amount deep in the abdomen, around the organs (visceral fat). This is important because the amount of fat stored in these different areas affects a persons probability for developing certain diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.

My clinical interests include cross sectional imaging in the evaluation of cancer, gastrointestinal disease, renal and liver transplants. I have a great interest in diagnostic ultrasound, including liver, renal and panceas ultrasound as well as a strong interest in gynecological and obstetric ultrasounda nd fetal anomalies.

Research Interest for Referring Providers
I've been involved in numerous funded and unfunded projects that involve the quantification of visceral and subcutaneous fat using CT, MRI and ultrasound.
