Clinical Interest for Patients
I am interested in the neuropsychological effects of genetic and metabolic disorders. As the Program Director for the Neurofibromatosis (NF) Program, I have worked with our team to develop inter-disciplinary clinics that provide specialized care for children based on their medical, cognitive, and behavioral needs. I am involved with the Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF) in promoting clinical care for people with NF, and I currently serve as a member of the CTF Clinical Care Advisory Board. I am also the current chair of the Neurocognitive Committee of the Response Evaluation in Neurofibromatosis and Schwannomatosis (REiNS) International Collaboration, which is focused on identifying standardized ways of conducting clinical trials in NF. In addition to working with children with NF, I am also a member of the 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome Clinic and the eXtraordinarY Kids Clinic, a program for children with XY variants.

Care Philosophy
I strive to collaborate with families, physicians, and other health providers to help children reach their full potential in their social, academic, and behavioral functioning.
