Care Philosophy: It is always important to understand a child's strengths as well as their needs and to use this information to develop an effective treatment plan. When I work with children, it is important for me to include their parents and care givers in the assessment and treatment process.

Volunteer Activities: I am a board member of the Rocky Mountain Rett Association and a family advisor to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation.

I have a special interest in working with children with autism spectrum disorders. I have co-founded a sleep behavior clinic for children with autism spectrum disorders and a clinic to address toileting issues. My research interests are primarily focused on investigating the effectiveness of treatments for sleep disorders in children with autism spectrum disorders. I am also interested in cognitive assessment of children with autism spectrum disorders and medical co-morbidities of children with autism spectrum disorders who are nonverbal.
