Clinical Interest for Patients: My clinical specialty involves treating patients with blood vessel disorders in all parts of the body except for the heart and brain directly. I specialize in providing patients with both minimally invasive techniques from inside the blood vessel known as "endovascular techniques," as well as traditional open surgical techniques known as bypass surgery. Minimally invasive procedures generally involve correcting the vascular problem using either a very short incision or no incision at all! Endovascular procedures utilize catheters and implantable devices such as stents or stent grafts. If appropriate for your condition, I will provide a balanced view regarding vascular therapies available based on our experience here as well as performing the newest procedures including stents and angioplasty for carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms and blockages in the arteries throughout the body and extremities.Personal Interests: In my spare time, I swim and run competitively. Clinical Interests for Referring Providers: My clinical interests lie in endovascular and open therapeutics for all vascular disorders. I have extensive experience in treating aortic pathology including abdominal and thoracic aneurysms, aortic dissections and penetrating aortic ulcers. I also specialize in hybrid procedures that utilize both traditional open surgical techniques as well as the latest endovascular therapies for a balanced and complete care of peripheral vascular disorders.
