Clinical Interest for Patients
My many clinical interests include therapeutic apheresis, patient blood management, eosinophilic gastroenteritis, and hepatopathology.
I am committed to providing the highest quality, professional, and ethical care to all patients. My care philosophy is that decision making and care should revolve around the patient and be in their best interest. My teams treat the patient through a multidisciplinary approach from a team of pediatric specialty trained experts including: pediatricians, pathologists, hematologists, oncologists, gastroenterologists, hepatologists, neurologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, hemapheresis practitioners, social workers, interpreters, and child life specialists. The Apheresis team at Children's Colorado is one of the top Apheresis teams in the country. We perform over 600 procedures a year and practice cutting edge technology rooted in evidence-based medicine.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my four pet dogs and enjoying the outdoors with my husband and daughters.
I volunteer my time at local Catholic schools, teaching anatomy and pathology.
