Clinical Interest for Patients
I specialize in the treatment of diseased blood vessels throughout the body, whether they be partially or completely blocked (usually by atherosclerosis) or abnormally enlarged (as in the case of arterial aneurysms or varicose veins). With recent advances in technology, many of these diseases can now be treated using minimally invasive "endovascular" techniques. I am pleased to be able to offer my patients both the latest endovascular therapies as well as traditional open surgical management, with a treatment plan tailored to each individual's specific needs.
I consider it the highest privilege of my life to have been given the opportunity to care for people at their moments of need. I guard the trust placed in me by my patients with the utmost sincerity, gravity, and gratitude.
I have a deep and long standing interest in global health and international surgery. I have worked in Africa, Asia and Latin America, with several relief organizations including Medecins Sans Frontieres / Doctors Without Borders, Save The Children, and Partners in Health.
