As a mother of a chronically ill child, I understand how important it is for your child to be treated as an individual and not let their condition or disease define them. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, snow and water sports, hiking, and spending time with my husband, our family dog, and my two very energetic sons.

Volunteer Activities

Because my son is an organ transplant recipient, I am dedicated to the promotion of organ donor awareness. I have served as an ambassador for local organ procurement agencies, participating in educational fairs, lectures and fundraising activities. As a former foster parent to our adopted son, I am passionate about foster care reform and have previously served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate.
