Clinical Interest for Patients
I am privileged to care for women with gynecologic cancers and pre-cancers, as well as complex benign processes. I perform cytoreductive surgery for advanced cancers, as well as chemotherapy for women with ovarian, uterine, cervical, and vulvovaginal malignancies. I have a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, including robotic-assisted surgery with the DaVinci platform.
Care Philosophy
I become part of a patient's journey during one of the scariest times in her life. I believe that clear and honest education and good listening are the foundation of this journey. Every woman's goals are unique to her and I strive to collaborate with my patients and their families as a team as we navigate through the decisions about complicated surgeries and treatments.

Personal Interests
My family and I are avid outdoors enthusiasts - we enjoy mountain biking, camping and hiking, as well as snowboarding and sledding!
Volunteer Activities
At Colorado College, I was very active in Habitat for Humanity in the Colorado Springs area. Throughout medical school, residency, and fellowship, I have focused on mentoring other learners and quality improvement initiatives within the hospital.

I am committed to the discovery of new therapeutic options in both ovarian and uterine cancer, as well as rare tumors, such as uterine sarcomas. I am passionate about quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes during and after surgery. I aim to expand my research in increasing patient education through technology.
