Clinical Interests for Referring Providers
I am interested in central nervous system viral infections, particularly those caused by VZV and HSV including postherpetic neuralgia, stroke, giant cell arteritis and facial pain syndromes.
Research Interest for Referring Providers
I study the molecular mechanisms of varicella zoster virus vasculopathy that leads to stroke and giant cell arteritis, as well as the role of alphaherpesviruses in dermatomal-distribution pain without rash, headache and facial pain syndromes.
