Information for Referring Providers

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers
I have an interest in the development of clinical protocols for children with difficult to treat brain tumors. My lab interests concentrate on the development of novel glial tumor therapies, specifically those directed at ependymoma and glioblastoma.

Research Interest for Referring Providers
I am interested in the following topics related to ependymoma: immunobiology and outcome; gene expression; therapy development; second look surgery; prognostic factors; and, the development of national and international protocols. Addtionally, I study the following topics related to glioblastoma: Molecular biology of congenital and pediatric glioblastoma; Role of Sprouty-4 expression and WNT pathway in outcome; Gene expression analysis and correlation with novel therapeutics; Therapy development, local and multi-center protocol development; Development of high dose therapy, local and national protocol development. I, also, am very interested in developing high dose therapy local and national protocols for infant brain tumors, as well as the classification, genetic causation, and gene expression of infant brain tumors.
