Clinical Interest for Patients
My clinical and laboratory interests are in the area of leukemia and in using the immune system to treat cancer, whether that be through bone marrow transplantation or cellular therapy.

Care Philosophy
My care philosophy is to, first and foremost, be honest and forthright with information. I believe that it only in this way that parents and patients can make the best decisions about their care. I also try to engage both the family and the patient in the decision making process when it is possible and appropriate.

Personal Interests
I enjoy spending time watching my kids play hockey and lacrosse. I also enjoy listening to great music and eating good food.

Information for Referring Providers

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers
My clinical interests include the use of transplantation for acute leukemia, double umbilical cord blood transplantation, graft-versus-leukemia and cellular immunotherapy (CAR T cells and Natural Killer cells)

Research Interest for Referring Providers
My research studies are aimed at developing cellular therapy to reduce leukemia recurrence by enhancing immune recovery and by more effectively treating sites of leukemia (with a newly developed method of bone marrow irradiation).
