Clinical Interest for Patients
My clinical practice is dedicated to the multidisciplinary care of breast disease including benign diseases, DCIS, and invasive cancer. I also perform axillary surgery including sentinel lymph node dissection, axillary dissection, and targeted axillary dissection. I utilize oncoplastic techniques including breast conserving surgery and nipple sparing mastectomy.

My research interests include evaluating outcome measures that are important to patients, such as psychosocial and physical well-being, throughout the course of treatment and recovery in an effort to provide high quality, patient-centered care. I also have an interest in quality improvement and study ways to improve the efficiency of care, patient safety, and patient outcomes after surgery for breast disease. My goal is to advance breast cancer care through clinical research and continuous process improvement.
